Opened in the summer of 2014, Lyn 65 is a chef driven restaurant that serves creative, yet humble bar fare inspired by the various cultures found around the world. Our entire staff contributes to the creative content of our menus, as well as the genuine hospitality that we hope to share with you. 


Dan Manosack- Executive Chef

Born and raised in the Twin Cities, Dan has worked at many of the top kitchens throughout Minnesota. He has also worked extensively on both coasts, spending time in Pittsburgh, as well as two years working in Portland. In Portland, Dan worked for James Beard Award winning chef Gabe Rucker (Le Pigeon, Little Bird), before becoming the executive chef of Nong’s Khao Man Gai. His extensive experience lends itself well to the diverse menu of Lyn 65.


Benjamin Rients- Proprietor

Ben founded Lyn 65 in the Fall of 2014, after working at Restaurant Alma for 6 years. From it’s conception, Lyn has always tried to push the boundaries of what a neighborhood restaurant could be. Ben also conceptualized, and is co-owner of Popol Vuh and Centro in North East Minneapolis.
